Philosophy

Pilates is an exercise method developed through the teachings of Joseph Pilates using body weight mat exercises as well as multiple pieces of Pilates-specific equipment created by Joe himself. The goal of a balanced body that functions efficiently and cohesively leads Pilates to improve strength, flexibility, muscle control, coordination, balance, and breath.

By engaging the whole body and mind, Pilates develops high levels of awareness and control in its practitioners leading to improved posture, breath, and movement efficiency along with decreased pain and injury risk. Pilates can be adapted to meet many of the specific needs or physical conditions of each individual.

Pilates At Physical Therapy Care specializes in Private and Small Group Pilates. We strive to offer the highest quality experience at an affordable price. Our knowledgeable instructors provide safe and personalized instruction to support any fitness level.
