Danae McWatt - Certified Pilates Instructor, BA
Danae McWatt grew fond of Pilates through her extensive training as a dancer in high school and eventually college. After graduating from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelors degree in dance science, she decided to pursue a career in dance and began dancing with professional companies in the L.A. area.
After a couple years, she decided to add Pilates permanently in her life. McWatt completed her Pilates certification with Body Arts and Science International (BASI) with a specialization in dance under the well-respected and internationally renowned Karen Clippinger. During McWatt's certificate completion, she was fortunate enough to assist Clippinger in the Pilates based classes at Cal State Long Beach.
Her passion for helping people via movement was what inspired her to teach both dance and Pilates. McWatt is excited to put her knowledge to use and continue her growth as an instructor.
Michelle Anderson - Physical Therapist, Certified Pilates Instructor, DPT
Michelle's journey with Pilates began with her 15 year training in ballet. Additionally, Michelle earned her doctor of physical therapy degree from Mount St. Mary's College and treats patients dealing with various orthopedic conditions.

Sarah Thomason - Certified Pilates Instructor, BA
Sarah Thomason graduated cum laude from Loyola Marymount University in December 2009 with a bachelors of arts in dance. In July 2009, she earned her Pilates certification with an emphasis in dance through Body Arts and Science International (BASI). The locations where she has taught Pilates include: Vail Athletic Club, Aria Spa in Vail, and Playa Pilates in Los Angeles, California.
She loves the atmosphere Pilates at Physical Therapy Care has to offer, where she can teach this special technique to people of all levels and needs, and observe their bodies transform over time. She appreciates the Pilates' approach of rehabilitating joint and spinal injuries of both athletes and non-athletes, and how it can help prevent the strenuous wear and tear exerted on their bodies daily. She enjoys learning from her colleagues, which has increased her knowledge of Pilates and allowed her to grow and mature as an instructor.
In addition to teaching Pilates, she pursues another passion through her career as a professional dancer. She can be seen on the Style Network dancing for Kimora Lee Simmons, and recently danced for “ENEWS Ciroc the New Year.” She also choreographs for national-winning Battle Mountain High School dance team, where she continues to share her love for dance. It is through the cross training for dance that she first experienced Pilates, which introduced a new dimension and understanding of body mechanics that has helped Sarah not only with her dance career, but with her daily physical and mental health.
